On Jan. 9, 2018 at approximately 8:25 p.m., Guelph police were called to the area of Speedvale Avenue West and Elmira Road North, where there was a report of a stolen vehicle. Police attended and were able to safely stop the vehicle and speak to the occupants. As a result of this investigation, two individuals were arrested and charged.
Charles Bridges, a 33-year-old man, and Kyle Huestis, a 26-year-old man, both from Guelph, were arrested and charged with theft over $5,000 and possessing stolen property. They were both given Feb. 20, 2018 court dates.
