Suspected meth, prohibited weapon seized at Mount Forest traffic stop: OPP

TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH - On April 30, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a vehicle that was parked at a business on Main Street South in Mount Forest.

 While speaking with the occupants, officers determined that a passenger was failing to comply with several court orders.

 Upon arrest, police recovered a quantity of methamphetamines and a prohibited weapon.

Justin Jeremy Lozon, 34 years old from Mount Forest has been charged with;

  • Fail to comply with release order (two counts)
  •  Fail to comply with undertaking (two counts)
  • Possession of a prohibited device
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance - methamphetamine

The Accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on May 18, 2021 to answer to the charges.
