Suspicious activity spotted. Two arrested

On Oct. 14, 2019, at approximately 1:20 a.m., while on routine patrol, a police officer observed suspicious activity in a commercial parking lot in the area of Woodlawn / Victoria.

Two males were observed in a vehicle that was subsequently identified as being stolen. The two males were advised they would be arrested and one male fled on foot.

Police set up a perimeter in the area and Police Service Dog (PSD) General was called to the scene. PSD General tracked the suspect for 700 meters and was able to locate him in Waverley Park.

A 29-year-old Windsor man has been charged with: obstruct police, two counts of possession of stolen property, breaching his probation order, resist arrest and possession of break and enter tools.

A 28-year-old Windsor man has been charged with: two counts of possession of stolen property, obstruct police and occupant of a stolen vehicle.
