Three teenage boys were arrested this week in relation to a break-in last month at the Victoria Road Recreation Centre.

Police allege a group of suspects attended a Nov. 12 hockey game, then left the arena area and used stolen keys to access various secure spots in the facility, taking several “miscellaneous items.”

Spotted by city staff, the suspects left the area.

Due to the missing keys, all locks at the rec centre were changed at a cost of about $3,000.

The accused, ages 13 to 15, faces charges of break and enter as well as possession of stolen property.
