Thief takes off with backyard pot plants

Guelph police report that sometime between 1:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, an adult male entered the backyard of a residence located near the intersection of Imperial Road South and Willow Road. The male proceeded to rip two medium sized cannabis plants out of their respective planters. The male then fled the area on foot with the plants after being confronted by a resident.

The male is described as:
- Caucasian
- Mid to late 20s
- 5’10
- Average build
- Reddish/blonde hair
- Wearing a black hoodie, ball cap, black basketball shorts with workout leggings and basketball shoes
