Ahead of a fiery crash, witnesses reported seeing three vehicles being driven aggressively Friday evening in the area of College Avenue West and Edinburgh Road South.

Two unidentified vehicles turned left on Edinburgh Road, heading north, but when the driver of a third vehicle attempted to follow, they lost control and struck a vehicle going straight through the intersection on College Avenue, explains a Guelph Police Service news release.

The fourth vehicle burst into flames and was destroyed by fire, but not before the female driver was able to get out unharmed.

As a result, an 18-year-old Puslinch man is charged with stunt driving, making an unsafe turn and several other offences. His driver’s licence was automatically suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for two weeks.
