Three drivers face impaired charges

On June 16, 2018, at approximately 3:27 a.m., Guelph Police were called to the area of Springdale Boulevard and Fairmeadow Drive for a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle and responsible driver. After speaking with the driver, the male was arrested for care and control - impaired driving. The male was subsequently charged with over 80.

Elijah Anesty, a 22-year-old Guelph male is scheduled to appear in court on July 6, 2018.

On June 16, 2018, at approximately 4:20 p.m., Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Willow Road and the Hanlon Expressway in regard to a vehicle swerving all over the road. Police spoke with the male driver, and as a result he was arrested for impaired driving. The male was subsequently charged with over 80.

Justin Stratton, a 30-year-old Guelph male is scheduled to appear in court on July 6, 2018.

On June 17, 2018, at approximately 2:47 a.m., Guelph Police were alerted to a possible impaired driver in the downtown core. Police located the vehicle and spoke with the male driver. After speaking the driver, he was arrested for impaired driving. The male was subsequently charged with over 80.

Nahom Tekle, a 24-year-old Guelph male is to appear in court on July 6, 2018.
