On the morning of Oct. 17, (it is alleged that) three males went to a Kent Street address and forced open the front door to gain entry. The resident received some minor injuries that did not require medical attention when he was assaulted by the males who also took some of his property. The suspects fled in a brown Toyota that was located and stopped by police a short time later on the Hanlon Parkway. All three were arrested.
The three men in their 20s are all from Guelph and are charged with a number of criminal offences including robbery, break and enter and assault with a weapon. They were held in custody and are scheduled to appear in bail court.
