In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 240 calls for service

The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Lock it or lose it
On Dec. 6, 2018 at approximately 12:38 a.m., Guelph Police were called to the area of Dufferin Street in regard to a male going through cars.

The male was confronted by a homeowner as he was going through an unlocked car. As a result, a 50-year-old Guelph male was arrested for theft under $5,000, two counts of breaching his probation, and breaching his recognizance.

The male is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 6, 2018.
