Breach of probation, calls for service

The following is a news release issued by the Guelph Police Service:

On March 28, 2018 at approximately 11:07 a.m., while on routine patrol, Guelph police officers noted a suspicious male riding a bicycle in the area of downtown Guelph. The male was spoken to.

As a result of this interaction, a 34-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, breaching an order of recognizance and breaching his probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.

In the last 24 hours, the Guelph Police Service have dealt with 212 calls for service.
