A purse was taken from inside and the males then left the area

The following is a news release issued by the Guelph Police Service:

On Sept. 23, 2017 during the homecoming festivities on Chancellor’s Way, two males were captured by security cameras entering a unit at one of the buildings. A purse was taken from inside and the males then left the area. Further investigation led to the identification of one of the males.

Mathieu Henderson, a 21-year-old Guelph male was arrested on Oct. 18 and charged with break and enter. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5, 2017.

Over the course of the day on Oct. 18, 2017 the Guelph Police Service responded to 245 calls for service.
