In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 295 calls for service

The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Traffic stop leads to arrest
On Sept. 5, 2018, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Guelph Police stopped a vehicle for speeding in the area of Gordon Street and South Ring Road. After speaking with the driver, it was learned that he was breaching an OIC Undertaking. As a result, the male was arrested.

The male was further charged with two counts of driving while under suspension, fail to surrender a permit for a motor vehicle, and having no insurance. Sean Blagdon, a 34-year-old Guelph male is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16, 2018.
