On Dec. 8, 2017 at approximately 8 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Geddes Street near Moir Street in Elora.
While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, officers became aware that he was providing false information.
twenty-six-year-old Mitchell Horne of Fergus has been charged with:
- Obstruct police
- Drive while disqualified
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on Jan. 2, 2018 to answer to the charges.
