On July 31, 2017 at 10:18 p.m., Guelph Police stopped a vehicle on Clairfields Drive, Guelph and a roadside breath demand was given to the driver.

A short time later the driver was arrested and charged with fail to provide breath sample. Further investigation revealed that the plate and insurance on the vehicle were both expired and the driver was charged accordingly.  

A 41-year-old male from Guelph was charged with fail to provide breath sample - approved screening device, owner/operate motor vehicle on highway - no insurance, drive motor vehicle - no current validation on plate, and fail to surrender drivers’ license. He will appear in court in August.
