TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH - On June 6, 2017 at approximately 3 p.m. a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2006 Volkswagen Passat for a violation on Main Street, Mount Forest.

Investigation revealed that there were drugs inside of the vehicle. The female driver was in possession of drugs and was arrested.  

A male passenger was found to be in possession of 2 bags of marijuana. He was also breaching conditions of an earlier release and was wanted for failing to appear in court.

59-year-old Jennifer Heron of Hanover has been charged with:

  • Possession of Meth
  • Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams

She was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of July 18, 2017 at Guelph Criminal Court.

29-year-old Scott Weiler of Mount Forest has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)
  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance
  • Fail to Appear

He was held for bail court.
