Guelph Police responded to 223 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Stolen dump truck
On Aug. 10, 2020 at approximately 12:45 a.m., a Dodge Ram dump truck, white in colour with Ontario Licence plate 584 0FR, was stolen from a commercial property on Woodlawn Road West near Michener Road in the City of Guelph.

Stolen motor vehicle located
On Aug. 10, 2020, the Guelph Police Service responded to the report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked at 655 Southgate Dr. in the City of Guelph. Police located the 2017 Mazda 3TR four-door black in colour and determined it had been reported stolen from Peel Region. Police also discovered that the front and rear licence plates, both different, were also reported stolen.

It is believed the vehicle was parked at this location sometime on Aug. 9, 2020.
