There have been a large number of break-ins consistently related to thefts from homes that are victimized because the garages are routinely left unlocked. Police want to remind all residents that there are many crimes that can be reduced simply by securing your home and especially your garages at all times. Everyone works hard in order to purchase possessions that we need and want. Protect them by simply creating habits that include locking doors when you leave the garage, the house or your vehicles.

On Dec. 12, 2016 a Queen Street building was broken into and the laundry room machines were targeted for the coins that are inside.
