Break and enter
On February 27, 2017, the Guelph Police went to a Silvercreek Parkway North business to investigate a break and enter. Investigation discovered that on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 around 7:54 p.m., an unknown male attended to the rear of their business in an attempt to open the side door but was unsuccessful. He then went to the fenced area where he proceeded to cut barbed wire and climbed over the fence into the compound. No theft is reported.
The male is described as white, unknown age, darker coloured jacket, lighter coloured pants, backpack, possibly white bandana over face, lighter coloured appears to be high-top running shoes.

Jewellery store break and enter - update
On Jan. 31, 2016, the Guelph Police went to a Paisley Road jewelry store to investigate a glass break alarm. Investigation determined that a lone male suspect broke a glass window to gain entry at 3:20 a.m. A theft of jewelry is reported. Total value of theft is just over $2,500.
Investigation led to the identity and arrest of the male responsible. On Feb. 22, 2017, a 17-year-old Guelph male was arrested. He has been charged with break and enter. He will appear in court on Apr. 5, 2017.
