A Cityview Drive homeowner reported to police that sometime in the three hour period after 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, both of the family vehicles were taken from the driveway of the home while they slept.

A Cityview Drive homeowner reported to police that sometime in the three hour period after 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, both of the family vehicles were taken from the driveway of the home while they slept. The vehicles are a white 2015 Nissan Titan Pick-up truck with tinted windows and chrome running boards and a black 2016 Nissan Murano with tinted windows.

Bike theft arrest

On May 2, 2017 it was reported to police that a man enter the underground parking garage of a Marilyn Drive apartment building and stole a Trek mountain bicycle. The theft was captured on video and police were able to identify the suspect.

On the evening of May 8, the male was located on Quebec Street and arrest for theft. Morphine tablets were found on his person when he was searched.

The 44-year-old Guelph man is charged with theft, possession of break-in tools and possession of a controlled substance. He was held in custody and will appear in bail court today.
