Two accused of bike theft

On July 4, 2017 at 12 a.m., Guelph Police stopped a male and female who were known to them walking with a bicycle on the sidewalk of Gordon Street South, Guelph.

The investigation revealed that the bike had (allegedly) been stolen earlier that night and a male and female were arrested. A search incident to arrest revealed that the female was in possession of a small quantity of drugs and was also in breach of two conditions of her probation.

Justin Prezbruch, 30 years of Guelph, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and was held for a bail hearing.

Natasha Godin, 20 years of no fixed address, was charged with theft under $5,000, two counts of breach probation, possession of a controlled substance and held for a bail hearing.
