Two arrested following break-ins using stolen vehicle

On October 26, 2018 at approximately 1:30 p.m., a male and female were involved in a theft from a business on Stone Road and left the area in a stolen vehicle that was reported stolen from Orangeville.

A short time later, the same two parties attended to a store in the Stone Road Mall and stole items from the store. The parties ran out, got into the stolen vehicle, and fled the area at a high rate of speed. Guelph police located the two parties in front of an apartment complex on Carden Street and they were placed under arrest. 

Ryan AMARAL, a 29-year-old Guelph male, was charged with two counts of Theft Under $5000, two counts of Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, two counts of breaching his Probation Order, Obstruct Police, Utter Forged Document, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, which is believed to be Fentanyl.  AMARAL appeared in court on October 27, 2018

Jessica HUNGERFORD, a 28-year-old Calgary female, was charged with two counts of Theft Under $5000, Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, and breaching her Probation Order.  HUNGERFORD appeared in court on October 27, 2018.
