TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Nov. 16, 2017, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a theft that had occurred at the LCBO store in the Town of Fergus.

Investigation revealed that at approximately 7:30 p.m. an unknown suspect walked into the store, selected two 750 mL bottles of Glenlivet, valued at approximately $90, and a 750 mL bottle of Patron - silver valued at approximately $81. He placed the bottles in his backpack and left the store without paying.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 40-years of age, with a slim build. At the time of the theft he was wearing a beige coat, black hoodie, dark pants and black ball cap. The backpack he used was black and white.

The OPP are asking anyone who may have information regarding this occurrence to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
