GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP - On Mar. 26, 2017 at approximately 1:45 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E program on Highway 7 and County Road 32, Guelph-Eramosa Township. 

A 2006 Volkswagon entered the R.I.D.E. program and officers believed the male driver had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail.  He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

21-year-old Jordan Da-Silva Roach, of Waterloo, has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on Apr. 25, 2017. 

His driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.

A 2008 Hyundai Accent entered the R.I.D.E. program and officers believed the male driver had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail.  He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

42-year-old Mark Goll, of Pilkington Township, has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on Apr. 11, 2017. 

His driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
