Two drivers taken to hospital following Silvercreek Parkway collision

On March 30, 2018 at approximately 11:59 a.m., Guelph police were called to the intersection of Paisley Road and Silvercreek Parkway North, where there was a report of a collision. Investigation alleges an eastbound Chevrolet driven by a 30-year-old Kitchener male was on Paisley and made a left turn on Silvercreek Parkway North. A westbound truck driven by a 38 year old Fergus man was going through the same intersection and the two vehicles collided.

As a result of the collision, both drivers were taken to Guelph General Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. The vehicles sustained approximately $15,000 worth of damage.

The 30 year old Kitchener man was charged with an unsafe turn under the Highway Traffic Act.
