Two face a number of drug related charges

One was found to be in possession of suspected morphine, crystal meth, and heroin

On Oct. 25, 2018, members of the Guelph Police Intelligence Unit were conducting surveillance in regard to a separate investigation when they observed (an alleged) drug deal involving a male. A short time later, (It is alleged that) the same male was observed doing another drug deal with a different male.

The male that received the (alleged) drugs was followed by police and arrested. Timothy Hanlon, a 43-year-old Guelph male, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance. Hanlon was found to be in possession of what is believed to be morphine, crystal meth, and heroin. Hanlon is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5, 2018.

The male (that is alleged to have been) dealing the drugs was observed later in the day and was also arrested. A 43-year-old Guelph male was charged with trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and four counts of breaching two different Probation Orders. The male is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 26, 2018.
