On Oct. 22 at approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to the area of Vaughn Street to investigate the report of two males that were seen attempting to enter a home on the street. Police were able to locate these two males and further investigation revealed that these two were also (allegedly) responsible for a break-in at another Vaughn Street address just prior to this incident. The property taken in that incident was recovered.

Graydon Ball and Mitchell Potter, both 18 years of age from Guelph, were charged with break and enter. The two were later released and will appear in court in December.

Police are investigating seven other break and enters that occurred over the weekend.
