Two Guelph residents face drug charges

On Sept. 20, 2018 at approximately 9 p.m., members of the Guelph Police Drug Unit executed a drug warrant at a hotel on Imperial Road North.

As a result of the warrant, a 26-year-old Guelph male and a 20-year-old Guelph female were arrested without incident. Police seized several items from the warrant including what is believed to be crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, and hydromorphone.

Both parties were charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. The male was further charged with breaching his recognizance as well as breaching his probation order. The female was further charged with breaching her probation order.

Both parties are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 21, 2018.
