Two teens charged in break and enter

TOWN OF ERIN - On Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 The County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a break and enter at a residence on Sideroad 17, Erin. At approximately 1 a.m., suspects wearing disguises were observed scaling a fence on security cameras.

OPP officers, Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team responded and located one male. Further investigations identified a second suspect.

Nineteen-year-old Tristan Skylar Benford of Halton Hills and 18-year-old John Williams of Erin were arrested and charged for break and enter and disguise with intent contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

They are scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on Oct. 24, 2017.
