Undercover child pornography investigation ends in charges

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, the OPP Digital Forensics Unit, and County of Wellington Ontario OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a local man in a child pornography investigation.

A pro-active online undercover investigation was commenced in September of 2017 after receiving information from the Guelph Police Service. The investigation resulted in a warrant being executed on Jan. 11, 2018 in the Town of Erin.

Police arrested 29-year-old Holden Raymond Sansolita of Erin and have charged him with:

  • Possession of child pornography
  • Accessing child pornography x2
  • Making child pornography available

The accused was remanded into custody and was scheduled for a bail hearing on Jan. 11, 2018 at Guelph Criminal Court.
