Vehicle crashes into fence in Howitt Park. Driver charged with impaired

On June 24, 2018 at approximately 10:04 p.m., Guelph Police were called to Howitt Park on Inkerman Street for a motor vehicle collision. The vehicle had driven over concrete curbs and crashed into a fence.

Police arrived on scene and spoke with the driver of the vehicle. After speaking with him, the male was arrested for over 80 - care and control.

Troy Breese, a 39-year-old Guelph male, is scheduled to appear in court on July 10, 2018.

On June 24, 2018 at approximately 3:04 a.m., Guelph Police were alerted to a possible impaired driver in the area of the Hanlon Expressway and College Avenue.

Police located the vehicle on Waterloo Avenue and spoke with the driver. After speaking with the driver, a male was arrested for impaired driving. He was subsequently charged with over 80.

Mathew Anderson, a 29-year-old Guelph male, is scheduled to appear in court on July 10, 2018.
