On July 11, 2018 at approximately 8:09 p.m., Guelph Police were alerted by the public about a possible impaired driver in the area of London Road and Woolwich Street. The vehicle was observed going through a red light, almost striking a pole, and then was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
Police attended to the collision and spoke with the male driver. After speaking with the male, he was arrested for impaired driving. The male was further charged with over 80.
Paul Clair, a 60 year old Guelph male, is scheduled to appear in court on July 24, 2018.
