Vehicle used to break into gas station

Two suspects gained entry, stole lottery tickets then fled the scene

TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA - On March 13, 2018 at approximately 4 a.m., Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a possible break and enter to the Brucedale XTR Gas Station on County Road 124, Township of Guelph-Eramosa.

Officers responded and discovered the front entrance of the gas station had been smashed in with what appeared to have been a vehicle. Two suspects gained entry, stole lottery tickets then fled the scene.

Wellington County OPP was later notified by Brant County OPP that they had the suspect vehicle stopped in their area and two suspects in custody. Investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
