CITY OF GUELPH, ON - On Thursday April 4, 2019, at approximately 1:15 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Highway 6 near College Avenue. The officers investigated the female driver of a grey hatchback that entered into the checkpoint.

A query of her driver's licence revealed that she was wanted in another police jurisdiction on an outstanding warrant and she was placed under arrest. When she exited the vehicle, officers observed a small plastic dime bag on the driver's side floor that contained a substance that appeared to be methamphetamine.

Nehemie EDOUARD, 28-years-old, of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. She is scheduled to appear in the Guelph Ontario Court of Justice on May 7, 2019 to answer to the charge.
