Washer and dryer, knives, machete and more stolen in break and enter

TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County detachment is investigating a Break and Enter with Theft at an address on Sideroad 7 West in the Township of Wellington North.

On Apr. 15, 2017 at approximately 12 p.m. police received a call that unknown suspect(s) had broken into an apartment at the residence as well as a shed at the property.

Suspect(s) appeared to have entered the apartment sometime between 11 p.m. Apr. 14, 2017 and 12 p.m. Apr. 15, 2017 by forcing open a man door and a garage door of the building. The shed appeared to have a hole dug under a large door to gain entry.

Stolen items include:

  • LA135 John Deere riding lawnmower
  • LG Washer and Dryer
  • 46" Dynex TV
  • Xbox 360
  • 6" Tanto blade knife
  • Gerber machete
  • Kershaw folding knife
  • Douke Douke pocket knife
  • Grizzly 177 pellet gun
  • 177 revolver style CO2 pellet gun
