In the last 24 hours, the Guelph Police Service dealt with 226 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Attempt break and enter
On April 24, 2018, the Guelph Police went to an apartment building on Woolwich Street for an attempted break and enter investigating. Unknown persons attempted to remove a steel vent panel that leads to the laundry room. No entry was gained. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact Cst T. Bicycle thefts
On April 24, 2018, Guelph Police investigated the thefts of bicycles from three different Guelph locations. On Home Street and Norma Crescent, bikes were taken from the property. On Douglas Street, a bike was locked but taken from the front of a restaurant. Bike thefts are common, please take extra precautions when leaving your bike.
