On April 26, 2016 at 8:20 a.m., the Guelph Police went to an Amalia Crescent residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the unlocked garage sometime overnight and stole multiple items including a leaf blower and a long board.

On April 26, 2016 at 9:35 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Macdonell Street condo building to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered sometime overnight. Golf clubs and three bicycles were stolen from the parking garage.

Theft from cars

On April 26, 2016 the Guelph Police received eight reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Grange Road, Eramosa Road, Wells Street, Starwood Drive, Severn Drive, Kingsbury Square and two on Sandcreek Lane,

This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
