On August 16, 2016 at 5:02 a.m., the Guelph Police went to Martin Street after a female resident reported seeing a male outside her bedroom window exposing himself.

On August 16, 2016 at 5:02 a.m., the Guelph Police went to Martin Street after a female resident reported seeing a male outside her bedroom window exposing himself. She quickly closed the blinds and police were called. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the man. There is no description of this individual.

Police investigate report of suspicious item

On August 16, 2016 at 2:25 p.m., the Guelph Police went to 253 Woodlawn Road West for the report of a suspicious item near a door at the plaza. Due to its appearance the Waterloo Regional Police bomb squad was called in to assist and the area was secured. Investigation determined that the item was two batteries wired together and was not dangerous. The area was released by police at 5:08 p.m.
