Three wanted individuals arrested

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Wanted persons arrested

On Jan. 9, 2018 at approximately 9:46 a.m., Guelph police officers were on routine patrol in the area of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North, when they spotted a male known to be wanted. The 33-year-old Guelph male was arrested for failing to appear in court. He was held for a bail hearing.

On Jan. 9, 2018 at approximately 10 a.m., Guelph police were at the court house when they spotted a male that was wanted for an Oct. 16, 2017 incident involving a stolen vehicle. The 30-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with being an occupant of a stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property. He was held for a bail hearing.

On Jan. 9, 2018, a 29-year-old female attended to the police station to turn herself in on an outstanding warrant. The warrant of arrest was relevant to an incident in November 2017 involving a break and enter on Carden Street. The 29-year-old female was charged with break and enter. She was held for a bail hearing.

Breaching condition

On Jan. 10, 2018 at approximately 12:50 a.m., Guelph police were on routine patrol, when they spotted a male that was known to be on conditions. The 39-year-old male was arrested and charged with breaching his officer in charge undertaking.

Break and enter

On Jan. 9, 2018, the Guelph Police went to residential building on Woolwich Street to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the lobby and broke into mailboxes.
