In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 233 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Bike Patrol Unit
On July 17, 2018 members of the Guelph Police bike patrol unit were conducting patrol in the downtown area. At approximately 7:48 a.m., Guelph Police observed a wanted party.

Michael McArthur, a 35-year-old Guelph male, was arrested on the strength of the warrant for breaching his Probation Order. McArthur appeared in court on July 17, 2018.

On July 17, 2018 members of the Guelph Police bike patrol unit were patrolling the downtown area and at approximately 9:17 a.m., observed a wanted female.

Heidi West, a 49-year-old Guelph female, was arrested on the strength of the warrant for failing to re-attend court. West appeared in court on July 17, 2018.

On July 17, 2018 at approximately 12:07 p.m., members of the Guelph Police bike patrol unit were patrolling the trails between Gordon Street and Edinburgh Road. Police observed three males consuming alcohol just off the trails.

As a result, the three males were issued a ticket for having open alcohol.
