Wanted person located, possession of stolen property, calls for service

The following are news releases issued by the Guelph Police Service:

On June 20, 2018, at approximately 12:57 a.m., Guelph Police were called to the area of Simmonds Drive in regard to stolen electronics from a vehicle.  Police were alerted to the electronics via an application.  Police located two female parties in the area of Cassino Avenue in a stolen vehicle.

As a result, a 15-year-old Guelph female and a 16-year-old Guelph female were arrested and charged with two counts of possession of stolen property. 

On June 20, 2018, at approximately 1:41 a.m., while on routine patrol, Guelph Police observed a male in the area of Woodlawn Road and Woolwich Street.  The male was currently wanted by Guelph Police for theft under, breaching his probation order, and breaching his recognizance.

A 27-year-old male was arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on June 20, 2018.

In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 210 calls for service.
