In the last 24 hours, the Guelph Police Service have dealt with 206 calls for service

The following news releases were issued by the Guelph Police Service:

On Oct. 6, 2017, Guelph police received a report of a stolen 2009 Jeep Laredo. On Oct. 8, 2017, police located the stolen vehicle and examined it. As a result of the investigation, a suspect was identified. A warrant for the arrest of the suspect was issued.

On March 7, 2018 at approximately 12:05 a.m., the suspect was located at a Norwich Street address. The 20-year-old Guelph female was arrested for possession of stolen property, failing to re-attend court and breaching her probation order. She was held for a bail hearing.

Security officer assaulted
On March 5, 2018 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Guelph police were called to Quebec Street Mall, where there was a report of an assault. It is alleged a female in the mall was causing a disturbance and when a security guard attempted to intervene, the security guard was assaulted. There are no injuries as a result of the incident.

On March 6, 2018, the 35-year-old Guelph woman was arrested and charged with assault.  

Assault
On March 6, 2018, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Guelph police were called to a Norwich address, where there was a report of an assault. It is alleged a disturbance occurred at this address and a male was assaulted. The male victim did received minor injuries but did not require any further medical attention.

Cody Allison, a-19-year old Guelph male was arrested and charged with assault. He was given an April 17, 2018 court date.
