Impaired driver arrested On May 10, 2016 at 1:31 p.m., the Guelph Police received the report of a possible impaired driver on Willow Road. Construction workers had made the observation and asked the female driver to pull over, which she did.

On May 10, 2016 at 1:31 p.m., the Guelph Police received the report of a possible impaired driver on Willow Road. Construction workers had made the observation and asked the female driver to pull over, which she did. Police attended, spoke with the driver and she was arrested.

Pauline Douglas, 55 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80mg. She will appear in court on June 14, 2016.

Police still searching for Cody Michael Thompson

On April 11, 2016, the Guelph Police received the report of a missing person. 24-year-old Cody Michael Thompson, was last seen on April 1, 2016 around 2 p.m., in the area of Willow Road and Dawson Road.

He is described as 5’8”, 130 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing brown pants and beige work boots.

Road safety enforcement on May 10

In the school zone area of Victoria Road North near Delta Street from 8:25 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. – 7 tickets issued.

Theft from cars

On May 10, 2016 the Guelph Police received two reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Elizabeth Street and Cardigan Street.
