On May 29, 2018 at approximately 1 p.m., Guelph police were notified by an alert motorist of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was followed by the motorist and observed striking a parked car, and then strike a car head on that was travelling the opposite way. Police arrived on scene and the female driver was arrested for impaired driving by drug.
Svetlana Borissova, a 27-year-old Guelph female, is to appear in court on June 12, 2018. All three vehicles that were involved in the incident sustained severe damage.
