On Feb. 15 2019, Guelph Police located an (allegedly) intoxicated female near a business on Willow Road. Officers, concerned for the female's safety, placed her under arrest for public intoxication. (It is alleged that) the female then spat in one of the officer’s face.
As a result, Sara Standring, 24 years old of Guelph, was charged with assault police and being intoxicated in a public place.
She is to appear in court on March 26 2019.
