Woman accused of vomit attack on paramedics

On Oct. 11, 2016 at 2:22 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a York Road residence to assist GWEMS with an assaultive patient. 

It is alleged that the female had become upset with the GWEMS crew and threw a bucket of vomit at them.

It missed the crew but soaked some medical equipment damaging it. The female was arrested at the scene.

Patricia Pegalo, 22 years old of Guelph, has been charged with mischief over $5,000 and assault with a weapon. She will appear in court on Nov. 25, 2016.
