A Guelph female was arrested Monday morning after officers found her inside a downtown church.

A passerby called the Guelph police shortly before 7 a.m. after spotting the female inside the church on Suffolk Street West.

Police arrived a couple of minutes later and could see the female inside trying to steal a PlayStation gaming system. An exterior glass door and two interior door windows were smashed to gain entry.

A 36-year-old Guelph female is charged with break and enter with intent and breaching probation. She will appear in a Guelph bail court Wednesday.
