Woman charged with impaired after driving into snowbank

On Feb. 26, 2020 at 6 a.m., an adult female crashed a vehicle into a snowbank in a commercial parking lot located near the intersection of Victoria Road North and Grange Road in the City of Guelph. The female then fled on foot.

At 6:27 a.m., police located the female a short distance away and began speaking with her. Based on officer observation, she was subsequently arrested.

A 46-year-old Guelph female has been charged with operation while impaired – blood drug concentration. Her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.

She will appear in court on March 10.
