Woman faces weapons charges in break and enter investigation

On Wednesday April 11, 2018 at approximately 5 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a weapons call to a business on Wellington Road 124 near Wellington Road 32, outside of Guelph. It was reported that a female had broken into the business, confronted an employee and was possibly armed. She was located nearby on foot by responding OPP.

Thirty-year-old Kayla Marie York of Guelph/Eramosa has been charged with break and enter, intimidation, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on May 15, 2018.
