Youth charged with break and enter

TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON - On Aug. 9, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m. the County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a break and enter at a residence on Waterloo Street, Mount Forest.

Investigation revealed that two male suspects wearing balaclavas broke into the locked residence at approximately 3:40 a.m. 

Suspects stole the following property:

  • RCA television
  • Two computer speakers with a subwoofer

Through the investigation one suspect was identified and OPP later located him in the Town of Mount Forest where he was arrested.

A 16-year-old male of no fixed address has been charged with:

  • Break, enter and commit indictable offence of theft
  • Disguise with intent
  • Fail to comply with sentence x3
  •  

He was held for bail court.
