Inspired by our own employees’ selflessness, YNCU is excited to have started the “Good Neighbours” program to acknowledge their hard work, and give back to our communities. Each year our employees roll up their sleeves and volunteer hundreds of hours of their time to local organizations. When a YNCU member donates a minimum of 5 hours of their time to an organization, the YNCU Good Neighbours program donates $150 the employee’s charity. This enables YNCU to recognize our employees’ contributions, while furthering their impact through the donation.
While only active for a few months, the program has already benefited organizations including The Canadian Mental Health Association, the National Service Dogs of Cambridge, The Alzheimer Society of Brant, and many others.
At YNCU, we believe not only in being a financial partner, but an active member of the community that is committed to supporting the growth of our members. Through this mantra and the dedication of our employees, we don’t just talk about being a good neighbour, we live it every day.
